Android Terms of Use

These terms apply to TextExhibit Android App, developed by Castel Nuovo Systems. By installing or using TextExhibit Android App, you agree to these terms. They apply in addition to the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern your purchase through Google Play.

Personal License

TextExhibit Android App starts in free trial mode. The Full Version is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play.

The Full Version is a personal license. It is licensed to one person for use on that person’s own Android phones and tablets. The license is managed by Google Play and tied to the Google account used for the purchase. You may reinstall the app and use it on replacement or additional devices that you personally own and use.

Not Permitted

A single Full Version purchase may not be:

• Shared across a business, law office, agency, or other organization
• Used through a Google account shared by multiple people
• Used to export messages from clients’, customers’, employees’, or other people’s phones
• Resold, rented, or provided to others as part of a paid service

Using TextExhibit Android App to export messages from your own phone for your own legal matter or business is permitted.

Free Trial

Trial exports include a watermark and some messages are redacted. Trial exports remain watermarked and redacted after you purchase the Full Version.

Purchases and Refunds

Purchases are processed by Google Play. Google Play’s refund policies apply. In addition, if a technical issue prevents a usable export, contact support@textexhibit.com within 14 days of purchase. If we can’t resolve it, we’ll refund your purchase.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for having the right to access and export the messages you select, and for complying with laws that apply to your use of exported messages.

TextExhibit Android App creates PDFs, spreadsheets, and verification reports formatted for use as exhibits. Whether an export is admissible or sufficient for a particular purpose is decided by the court, agency, or other party receiving it. Review every export before relying on it.

Android controls which messages are available to TextExhibit Android App. You are responsible for reviewing the created documents to ensure they contain all messages relevant to your matter.

Privacy

Message content, contacts, and exported files are processed on your device. See the Android Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer

TextExhibit Android App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Castel Nuovo Systems does not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that every message on your device will be exported.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Castel Nuovo Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TextExhibit Android App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Full Version.

Termination

Your license ends automatically if you use TextExhibit Android App in violation of these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date above indicates when they were last revised.
