Android App
Generate PDFs of text message conversations directly on your personal device. No need to create a backup, install the desktop app, or transfer files to a computer.
For legal professionals: You can direct your Android clients to download the app and complete the in-app purchase themselves. After exporting, they can use the app's share feature to send you a .zip file containing the full conversion: court-ready PDFs, extracted media, and hash verification reports. Clients may securely share this with you via options like Google Drive or an upload directly from their phone to a private SharePoint folder you send them.
Desktop App (Windows & Mac)
Import text message backups from both Android and iPhone devices and convert them into court-ready PDFs.

Email Product InformationWhat About iOS?
Unfortunately, Apple does not allow any app on the App Store to access text messages (SMS/iMessage) stored on an iPhone. This is a system-level restriction that applies to all developers, not just us, which means an iOS version of TextExhibit is not possible.
iPhone users can still generate PDFs using the desktop app. Create an iPhone backup on your Windows or Mac computer, then use the desktop version of TextExhibit to import conversations from that backup and generate PDFs. See our iPhone Backup Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Free Trial & Full Version
Both the desktop and Android apps start in free trial mode.
- When you first install TextExhibit, it runs in free trial mode
- Trial mode includes watermarks on PDFs, redacts some text messages, and is limited to 3 exports
- To unlock the full version on desktop, purchase a license through our website; on Android, unlock via in-app purchase
- An in-app purchase on Android permanently unlocks full capabilities: no watermarks, no redacted texts, unlimited exports
- Your trial exports and settings are preserved when you activate
Operating System Notices
Our Windows installer is code-signed by Castel Nuovo Systems LLC. You can verify the publisher name in the installer’s properties or in any SmartScreen prompt.
Because our code-signing certificate is relatively new, Windows SmartScreen may still occasionally display a warning. If you see the message below, click ”More info” and then ”Run anyway” to continue — you’ll see our publisher name confirmed in the dialog. This warning will disappear as our certificate builds reputation over time.

IT-managed devices: If your organization’s security policy blocks the installation, please contact your IT department and provide them with the installer’s code-signing details (publisher: Castel Nuovo Systems LLC) so they can approve it. Feel free to contact us if your IT team needs additional information.
